Regular Support for Charities
At Toffeln we believe in giving back. Which is why we support a wide range of Charities engaged in humanitarian work. In fact, we have made large donations to charitable causes that are close to our hearts.
Toffeln is dedicated to supporting charities including:
Lease of Light Programme
The Lease of Light Project was set up to support healthcare services around the world with refurbished Toffeln surgical headlights. Every year millions of patients around the world are at risk from unreliable or inadequate lighting during surgery. The stories of power outages during the midst of complex surgical procedures or operations being carried out by mobile phone light is heart rending. In line with our commitment to improve wellbeing through innovation and to meeting our sustainability goals we now gift our re-furbished headlights to charity around the world including:

CLOGS WITH A CAUSE
At Toffeln, we believe in giving back and with the new T-Bears range, we wanted to offer bright and colourful hospital clogs that directly contribute to the causes that matter.
How are T-Bears different? For each purchase made from the AktivKlog T-Bears range, we pledge to donate £1 of the proceeds to three celebrated UK charities that are close to our hearts and well-loved within UK healthcare:
The support continues beyond there. As with all Toffeln Footwear, the AktivKlog T-Bears range has been designed for healthcare professionals and delivers all the comfort and safety features we are known and loved for. Better still, these cheery new designs have been developed by our Toffeln designer to bring smiles to the wearer and their patients.

Safe Water ‘Gender Responsive’ Project
We proudly support the 'Uganda Gender Responsive Safe Water Project' by purchasing Carbon Credits as part of our Carbon Reduction Plan.
This initiative improves lives in northern Uganda's Lango region by installing boreholes to provide safe drinking water for the community. The project was awarded the 'Gold Standard Gender Responsive Certification' in 2020 due to its notably advanced gender equality and has reduced domestic violence incidents related to water collection from 35% to zero.
